Jim has spent over half his adult life in the corporate world of Mortgage Banking, Outside Sales, and Commercial Real Estate, so he knows full well the challenges that busy adults face when trying to maintain their mental health, physical fitness, and at times, their sanity!
Fortunately, he has spent the other half in the Fitness, Health, and Wellness Industry, so he knows full well how to overcome those obstacles.
As both a Yoga Teacher and Personal Trainer, Jim combines the tenets of Yoga and Meditation with efficient and effective Exercise and Nutrition practices, resulting in a comprehensive program specifically tailored to his clients’ needs and lifestyles, ultimately bringing balance to their lives: Physically, Mentally, and Emotionally.
As President of Crowder Fitness, Inc., Jim worked as a full time Personal Trainer and Performance Enhancement Specialist, running a full service fitness business that included In-Home, In-Club, Corporate, and Athletic Fitness Programs.
During that span, he owned, operated, and staffed two personal training studios in Fairfax, Virginia, and managed fitness programs for multiple clients, including Gold’s Gym, Sallie Mae, and Fannie Mae. In addition to program design, oversight, and development, he also managed and trained over 40 fitness instructors and trainers, and taught regular classes on strength training biomechanics.
Jim’s fitness experience also includes performance training for age group athletes and sports teams, and he has over 20 years experience coaching a wide variety of sports, including travel soccer, basketball, swimming, and diving.
In the Corporate arena, Jim conducted Motivational Speeches on Stress Management and Productivity for multiple clients, including the Department of the Army, Proctor and Gamble, Fannie Mae, Sallie Mae, and the Central Fairfax Chamber of Commerce.
As a Yoga Teacher and Meditation Specialist, Jim empowers his students to clear out the clutter and limiting beliefs that so often cloud their thoughts, and give them mental clarity and focus, allowing them to move in a clear and positive direction with calm peace of mind.
